  • By the end of the course, you will unpack the research on teacher-paraprofessional collaboration, the power of relationships, and co-teaching models and how these impact student growth, achievement, and long-term success.

  • By the end of the course, you will learn the 7 C's of effective communication, how clear, respectful communication helps build trust and strong teamwork, and apply these tools to communicate effectively in challenging scenarios.

  • By the end of the course, you will identify and delve deeper into critical mindsets — shared responsibility, mutual respect and open communication — to build productive collaboration, understand why conflict can be good and learn four questions to ask to reduce conflict.

  • By the end of the course, you will look at strategies to remove the inherent power imbalance in the partnership, take a collaboration self-assessment inventory and learn a fun protocol that sets partnerships up for success.
