In this course, you will learn about the importance of Collective Teacher Efficacy and how to foster it within your staff. By the end of the course, you will be able to:

clearly define collective teacher efficacy and the importance of fostering it within your school;

identify and describe at least two research-based benefits of high collective teacher efficacy on student outcomes;

self-identify the level of collective efficacy currently in place in your setting; and,

outline at least 3 actionable steps to enhance collective teacher efficacy within your setting.
In addition, you will use the information learned in order to think about your own situation and apply the learning to your specific context. Learners will be asked to reflect on their leadership practices and learning environment in order to develop a plan to foster collective efficacy.
