Positive Behavior Supports help teachers and paraprofessionals create safe, predictable, and positive learning environments for all students. We will discuss preemptive strategies to teach and reinforce desired behaviors and discourage problematic behaviors. Positive Behavior Supports can promote academic, social, and emotional outcomes for students. We will examine causes of undesirable student behavior and suggest ways to turn them into positive behaviors.
